Terms and Conditions
Thank you for considering All Around Removals for your upcoming move. We pride ourselves on delivering a smooth, professional, and fair service to all our customers.
By hiring All Around Removals, you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not make a booking.
Your booking is confirmed once we receive all required details and your deposit payment (see Payment Terms below). It is your responsibility to provide accurate information about:
- • Volume and nature of items
- • Accessibility at all properties
- • Any special requirements (e.g. dismantling, stairs, restricted access)
Misleading or incomplete information may result in additional charges or delays.
No two quotes are the same. That's why we require an inventory, a video walkthrough of your home, or a home survey to prepare an accurate estimate for your move. Our quotes are created based on your individual needs and circumstances. Factors influencing your quote include distance, loading and unloading time, access issues, key handover, fuel, packing time, packing materials, dismantling and assembly of furniture, clearance (if required), traffic based on requested time and location, labour time, and insurance.
We understand that moving plans can change.
Deposit Requirements:
A 50% deposit is required for all bookings
Cancellation Policy:
- • Cancellations can be made up to 7 days prior to the move date
- • If you cancel before 7 days, 20% of your deposit will be retained as an admin fee
- • If you cancel less than 7 days before your booking, your full deposit will be retained
Rescheduling Policy:
- • If you reschedule before 7 days, you will not be charged an admin fee
- • If you reschedule less than 7 days before your move, 50% of the deposit will need to be paid again
Wherever possible, if you need to cancel or change your booking, we will always try our best to reallocate you to another available slot before applying cancellation terms.

To maintain reliability for all clients:
- • If no one is present within 15 minutes of our team's arrival, the job will be marked as a no-show
- • If there is no response at the address, the team will leave and the visit will be considered missed, requiring rescheduling at an additional charge
- • A 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings
- • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours prior to your move
- • If payment is not received 24 hours before your move, your booking will be considered cancelled and your deposit forfeited
- • Quotes are strictly based on the information provided at the time of booking
- • If additional charges are incurred during the move (see list below), the customer must pay these on the same day
- • Any additional services must be paid in advance if agreed with the service provider
Sunday Surcharge: All moves booked for Sundays are subject to a 10% surcharge on the total quoted price. This will be clearly reflected in your final invoice or balance due.
You may be charged extra if:
- • There are more items than initially discussed
- • There are additional pick-up or drop-off locations
- • Items are not packed or dismantled as agreed
- • Our team is delayed due to access issues not previously disclosed
- • Labour time exceeds the estimated time due to incomplete preparation
To avoid additional charges, please ensure everything is packed, all large items are dismantled and packed properly, and everything is ready to go unless agreed otherwise.
Important: All items are expected to be dismantled before the move. If certain pieces of furniture cannot be dismantled, please provide a photo in advance or enquire about our dismantling and assembly services.
Our team takes great care with every item we handle. However:
- • We cannot guarantee the safety of fragile or high-value items (such as TVs, monitors, mirrors, or glass) not packed in their original boxes or suitable protective packaging
- • Any item packed by the customer is moved at the customer's own risk
- • Flat-pack furniture not dismantled before moving is especially prone to damage; we recommend dismantling where possible
- • All claims for loss or damage must be reported on the same day of the move and will be handled via our internal claims process
Same-Day Compensation:
- • We will reimburse you for damages to items up to £500 on the same day
- • If the agreed damage value exceeds £500, the remaining balance will be paid within 7 days of your move
- • There will be no compensation for items not listed in inventory, nor for high-value items not covered by the client's own insurance
- • You must inform us prior to booking of any item valued over £1000. Such items must be covered by our protection service or transported entirely at your own risk
The customer is responsible for securing parking at both pick-up and drop-off locations. Any parking fines, delay charges, or extra labour time due to lack of access will be added to your final bill.
Please advise us in advance of any access issues, including stairs, lifts, long carry distances, low bridges, narrow roads where vans cannot fit, etc.
- • We have Public Liability insurance (£1 million) and Goods in Transit insurance (up to £10,000 per vehicle)
- • This cover may be limited depending on the condition, packaging, and nature of items
- • We advise customers to arrange additional insurance for high-value items
- • We are not liable for damage to items of sentimental, emotional, or indirect value
- • In the rare event that an insurance claim must be made, the excess will be covered by us, not the client
Our team reserves the right to refuse handling or transporting any item that may pose a safety risk or was not disclosed prior to the move. This includes extremely heavy, hazardous, or unsecured items.
We also reserve the right to withdraw service if, upon arrival, the property is found to be in extremely unhygienic conditions that present a health and safety risk to our team (e.g. presence of pet faeces, infestations, or hazardous waste).
Animals:
- • We must be notified of any animals present at the property at the time of booking
- • Pets must be safely secured during the move to reduce the risk of injury to them or our team
Professional Conduct: No abuse will be tolerated. We will not proceed with the job if our team is disrespected, abused, or pressured into moving unsafe items. We reserve the right to withdraw service in such cases.
